What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this Lockrack Universal Mount for stand-up paddleboard carriers, and we put it on this 2012 Dodge Durango. Lockrack's gonna be a good system for hauling your stand-up paddleboard. You see these arms pushed in, holding both sides of it really tight. You can shake the whole vehicle back and forth, you know that this isn't going anywhere. I like how easy it is just to push the arms in. more

etrailer Watersport Carriers Review - 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
Today, we're doing a test fit on the etrailer kayak carrier. As far as our test vehicle today, this is a 2009 Ram 1500. This is a folding, adjustable kayak carrier, offers 150 pound weight capacity. When folded, it only adds 4-5/8 of an inch to the top of your crossbar. It's going to work with just about all varieties of crossbar out there, whether that's the square, the round, the arrow, the elliptical, or most of your factory systems.I think this kayak carrier solves a lot of problems, and that's kind of why we've designed it the way we did. We get our hands on all the different models from all the different manufacturers, and it really allows us to perfect ours. more

Hey, guys. Today we have a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan and we're gonna do a test fit on the etrailer J hook kayak carrier. Now this is gonna mount to the roof rack of your caravan. It's gonna allow you to haul your kayak to and from the river or wherever else you want to take it. It's gonna come with everything you need to secure your kayak. We have our two middle straps right here, securing our kayak at the haul down onto the carrier while it's bow and stern straps along with anchor points to put under our hood or even on our trunk. more

Today, on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Swagman Contour. This would be a roof-top mounted kayak carrier with a J-hook design, part no. S65148. As you can see, it does come with all the provided hardware to strap down your kayak. The 2 main body straps as well as the bow and stern lines. Let's go ahead and start off by getting the bow and stern lines off and then we'll get the main body straps off after that. It just going to simply be a nylon rope with a hook on one side. more

Thule Watersport Carriers Review - 2015 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, part number TH811XT. As you can see, we've already got it up here with our stand-up paddleboard, strapped down and secured to our factory crossbars. Your two straps will be included with your SUP Shuttles to secure your stand-up paddleboard to your vehicle. Let's go ahead and undo the straps. You'll see that the straps do have that nice protective rubber pad to go around the edges and sides where that strap's going to make contact with your board, as well as in the middle where you have the ratcheting device. Let's go ahead and pull out that slack. You can choose to place the slack on the inside of the vehicle, in the door-frame if you want, or roll it up or strap it down however you like. more

SportRack Watersport Carriers Review - 2015 Dodge Durango- Video
Today, on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the sport rack kayak carrier for the roof of your vehicle. It's going to be the j-hook style design, and it's going to come with all the provided hardware to strap down your kayak, as well as it'll have your balance stern lines. It's going to be part number SR5511. First off, let's go ahead and undo our balance stern lines, that way you can kind of see where they go and how they function. Of course, you're going to be able to tie them down however you see fit, but this'll give you a good idea of how to do so. We just have it hooked to the receiver hitch, but you can also hook it to the spare tire underneath the backside or any other fixed mounting point. Moving to the front, the bumper and fenders are going to be mostly plastic, and you're going to have this big fascia down here, so you're not going to really have a point to fix and mount it down below - or off the front of the vehicle. We decided to do it inside the engine compartment. If you choose to do it this way, we'll show you the spot where you can do so. Down here on the side, you're going to have a hole - right on the inside of the fender. You can place your strap in there and your hook just like so, securing it down and coming back underneath to the hood. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Dodge Avenger- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi, a stand up paddle board carrier with a 2 board capacity, part # TH810. With our Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack already installed on the Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the front half of our carrier onto our front crossbar. We'll bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside of our crossbar and fit it in to the foot of the carrier. We can then tighten then gray knot to secure it in place. We'll now make our way over to the driver's side, and repeat the same tightening process. With the front half of our carrier secured, it's time to move to the rear. We'll place the rear half under our rear crossbar. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan well be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with a 2-board capacity, part number th810. Witha factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'llbegin our test fitby placing half of our carrier on to ourfrontbar. Well bring the rubber-coated strap around our bar fitting it back into the foot of the carrier and using the small hand knob to secure it around our crossbar. We'll move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat this process for the other strap. We'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear crossbar. We want to make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other. more

Today, on our 2014 Dodge Journey, we'll be test-fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, with a 2-board capacity, part number TH810. With a Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System assembledonto our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto our front bar. We can then bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar, and hook them into the connection points. We can then turn the gray knobs to bring the straps up around tightly against the front bar. With this done, we can go ahead and repeat the same process for the rear part of the carrier. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load-up our paddleboard. We'll first need to undo the straps from the carrier. more

Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Thule SUP taxi stand-up paddleboard carrier with a two-board capacity, part number TH810. Now, with the Thule Airwave roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front load bar. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the cross bar and hook them back into the top bracket.We'll then turn the gray knob to tighten on the straps and secure the carrier to the front low bar. We'll then repeat the steps for the other side of the vehicle. We'll now place the rear part of the carrier unto the rear load bar and again bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the other side of the crossbar and put them back into the top bracket. We'll then turn the gray knobs to secure the carrier to the vehicle.Once again we'll repeat these steps for the other side of the vehicle. more

Well feed the speed length straps around the bar and back into the heads and then tighten them down with the grey knobs. Then well take the second half of the carrier and repeat the same procedure at the rear bar. We do want to make sure that, the second half lines up nicely with the front half, so that we can properly carry our paddle board. Now this vehicle is equipped with factory installed cross bars, so to begin our test fit, we'll set the first part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps on the underside of the crossbar and turn the gray knob to tighten it down to secure the carrier to the vehicle. We will repeat this process for the other side with the strap. We will then move to the rear of the vehicle. We will then set the second part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar. more

We'll then turn the gray knob here, tightening the strap, securing our carrier to the crossbar. We'll do this on both sides. Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2012 Dodge Charger- Video
Today on this 2012 Dodge Charger, we're going to do a test fit of party number TH810; the Thule SUP Taxi. Now our charger has already been equipped with a roof rack system using a Thule AeroBlade Crossbars. We'll start off our carrier already assembled according to the instructions, so all we have to do is put it on the roof rack. We'll take our first carrier, place it up on the roof rack and then wrap the straps underneath the AreoBlade bar and then the clips on the other side. Once we have it loosely attached, we'll go ahead and move it into its final position and tighten it down for good. Okay, we got the first half in placed and we'll go ahead and move on to the second half, we will repeat the same steps that we used to install the first half of the carrier. more
